Looking for a good play to see? The Artistic Civic Theatre is putting on its latest musical entitled “Metaphasia” all throughout the month of September. A modern day remake of “The Twelve Dancing Princesses” by the Brothers Grimm, this musical follows Angie Anderson’s magical dive into Metaphasia, a land where imagination and reality are indivisible. There, she needs to be rescued before she becomes the enslaved “Thirteenth Princess.” Tickets range from $9 to $15.

For families, the 2012 Stay in School Jam is happening on September 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. It will be held at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center and will feature Ace Hood as its headlining performance, along with many others. Advance tickets are on sale, with general admission at $25.
